I have long been a wine drinker. Now, though, without my sense of smell and with a very diminished sense of taste, I don't enjoy it like I did in the past. Still, I have a single glass almost every single day.

During the pandemic, which was well-before my life-changing event, I was drinking a lot more than just one glass! My wife and I did add a new place to buy wine, Naked Wines, and we continue to enjoy the service. I loved the name, but the idea of buying wine mail order didn't really seem so great. It has been!

First, they allow wine drinkers to get to know the winemakers and to interact with them on the website. Another great thing about the organization is that they help good people do what they love to do. To me, the best part of all of this is that they help all sorts of winemakers. I like that the platform has a lot of women, as the industry has historically been tough for women-winemakers. Most of the winemakers are American, but the platform offers wine from other countries too.
