A Great Service!
I just got back from one of my favorite cities, New York City, where I stayed for almost two weeks. I lived there from 1986-1994, and my son and his wife live there now. I will have more to say about this wonderful trip, but today I want to discuss TrustedHousesitters.
I learned about TrustedHousitters from someone who has used it, my daughter. I researched the company and found out that it is more than a decade old and operates globally. The idea of it is that people who have animals can let their animals stay at home instead of boarding them or bringing them with them when they travel by exchanging their house with someone who will stay there and take care of the animal(s). For people who want to stay for free when traveling and who like to care for animals, this is a great opportunity.
The service charges a subscription fee. I joined earlier this year and had a tough time finding my first sit. I got very lucky, as the sit was fantastic. Nice animals, nice house and nice owners!
You can check it out. If you want to join, here is a coupon to save 25% on the annual subscription. Feel free to ask me any questions too.
